I got myself a writing book on the internet so I'll submit new pieces soon after I've read through it. Other than that, there's alot of promising artists that I've seen over the past few weeks. Two of them have recently become watchers of Yours Truly. Now, I'm no master artist, but I have some quality pieces around (Yet to send them in though). I think a huge number of people on DA have great talent, but unfortunately much of their talent goes undeveloped. Maybe people look down on the whole "Artistic" side of life. People pooh-pooh it and say that it's a waste. Well I say, "If there was nobody that undertook the artistic path of life, where would we get our film? Our TV? Our world pretty much? Everything in this world first existed as someones thought. Everything! Look around where you are right now. Tell me one thing man-made, that did not first exist as someones thought? Can you?
This is just a simple message for all those who want to pursue something in Art. Forget what others think or tell you. If you love it and enjoy it, then its what you should be doing.
Let go of what others think of you.
Let go of what you think of yourself.
Let go of what you expect from yourself.
Let go of your past and your future.
We only ever live in the present, so why place your energy worrying about the past and future, especially since the past will always remain in the past, and the future will always remain in the future. If you take anything away from this brief piece, let it be this;
